Meal Service

The apartment is fully equipped for Kosher cooking with strict separation of dairy and meat; including two sinks, separate and identifiable dishes and cutlery, an oven for meats only and a microwave for dairy dishes only. The cooking range is ceramic and can be used for both.

If you prefer to have your meals prepared for you and served, there is a variety of possibilities.

Vegetarian Gourmet:
The Rudich family, hosts of Chashmonaim Lodging, have been vegetarians for the last 25 years. As lovers of finely prepared, great tasting food, the Rudichs have developed a family tradition of richly varied gourmet cooking. Most noteworthy, a variety of fruits and vegetables which are plentifully in Israel year round, are used in abundance. To enrich the protein content of the food, sprouted lentils are used. In addition to the regular spices, a variety of herbs roots and dried vegetables are incorporated to enhance the taste of the dishes. The Rudich's bake their own bread and Shabbat Challot out of whole organic flour. The food must really be tasted to really appreciate its richness!

Dairy or Meat meals:
Local caterers on the yishuv would be happy to supply you and your family with any sort of meal you could want; from simple home cooked breakfasts to full course dinners and anything in between. Area Restaurants
Within a 5 minute car ride there is a Chinese, Indian [with various other menus available too] and Italian nice sit-down restaurants. There are quite a few dairy, elegant cafes with menus for lunches and dinners. Of course, there are many steakiyas, felafel and pizza places, burger ranch, burger bar, bakeries with table service and many other smaller deli/take out places. All are very tasty and most deliver!
